Spyderco C229GMCBKP Shaman Salt Features Premium Blade Steel — The blade is made from CPM MagnaCut® , a particle-metallurgy stainless alloy known for excellent edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance, well suited to Salt series conditions. Black Coating — A dark, non-reflective finish (likely DLC or PVD) protects the blade further from wear, glare, and the elements. Salt® Upgrades — As with other Salt variants, the clip, liners, screw hardware, and internal components are upgraded to marine-grade, ultra-corrosion resistant materials to withstand saltwater and harsh environments. Handle & Ergonomics — Textured black G-10 scales provide tactile grip even when wet. The handle shape retains the ergonomic contours and choil design of the Shaman line.
