The Spyderco Native® 5 Lightweight CPM® S30V® CombinationEdge is a refined fifth-generation folding pocket knife designed for high-performance everyday carry. Built on decades of continuous improvement, it combines Spyderco’s proven Native platform with modern materials, lightweight construction, and a highly functional blade geometry suitable for a wide range of cutting tasks. At its core is a spearpoint blade made from premium CPM® S30V® stainless steel , offering an excellent balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. The blade features a full-flat grind for efficient slicing, a distal taper for enhanced piercing capability, and a CombinationEdge (partially serrated) configuration that improves performance on both clean slicing and tough fibrous materials. The lightweight black FRN (fiberglass-reinforced nylon) handle is injection molded and features Bi-Directional Texturing™ for a secure, slip-resistant grip in all conditions. Despite its durability, the knife weighs only about 2.5 oz , making it highly suitable for everyday carry.
