With a blade just shy of four inches, the Stretch 2 XL Lightweight offers serious cutting performance in a package that weighs under three ounces. For steel aficionados, this remarkable expression of the design elevates its cutting and edge-holding performance with a blade crafted from Böhler-Uddeholm’s K390 MICROCLEAN®. K390’s advanced alloy mix was specifically developed to provide the extreme wear resistance and strength needed in industrial cutting, blanking, and punching operations. The Stretch 2 XL’s full-flat-ground blade takes full advantage of these qualities and is paired with a linerless fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle injection molded in the signature blue color of Spyderco’s elite K390 family. The Bi-Directional Textured™ handle is also home to the knife’s stout back lock mechanism and a four-position clip that supports left or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry.
