It retains the proven strength, performance, and design philosophy of the original model while introducing reduced weight and enhanced grip texture for improved carry comfort and usability. At its core is a full-flat ground CTS® BD1N stainless steel blade measuring approximately 3.58″ , delivering dependable cutting performance, corrosion resistance, and easy maintenance. The blade geometry provides strong slicing capability and reliable edge strength, making it suitable for a wide range of everyday cutting tasks. The handle is constructed from fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) with a pebbled texture for enhanced grip security. Internally, nested skeletonized stainless steel liners provide structural reinforcement and support the Compression Lock® mechanism , ensuring strong and reliable blade lockup during use. The ergonomic handle shape maintains the comfortable radiused design of the original Shaman while reducing overall weight by approximately nine percent. A four-position pocket clip allows flexible tip-up or tip-down carry on either side, enhancing adaptability for different carry preferences. The knife is also available in an all-black configuration featuring a DLC-coated blade, liners, clip, and hardware for a low-visibility tactical finish.
