The Cathode is a 2.25-inch tanto blade with a flipper for SpeedSafe assisted opening for a one-handed opening. It's a great knife for everyday carry for righties or lefties. The handle is cold-forged stainless steel that displays a repeating pattern. The Cathode isn't ultra-fancy, just ultra-functional. A top grind adds a touch of style, while heavy jimping on the spine ensures a secure grip, especially when you need to choke up on the blade for detailed work. The Cathode locks up securely during use thanks to the solid frame lock. Black hardware, including a back-spacer with additional jumping and a reversible pocket clip, sets off the Cathode's all-steel good looks.
